Noah Media Group announced as Gfinity Elite Series’ production partner

Noah Media Group has been announced as the production partner for Gfinity’s new Elite Series event.

Noah Media Group are better known for their work in traditional sports, having created content for companies like UEFA and FIFA, in addition to work done for 2017 ICC Champions Trophy, and BBC’s Match of the Day.

The aim of the partnership is for Noah Media Group to work some of their magic, creating a unique broadcast experience, with a press release highlighting their innovative approach to content creation, suggesting that “ the production of the Gfinity Elite Series will realise new levels of broadcast excellence, bringing the very best professional eSports to the screen in an original and dynamic style.”

To achieve this, Noah Media Group’s senior producer Pete Thomas will be working with Gfinity’s in-house production team. Thomas was involved in recent comedy program ‘The Last Leg’ for Channel 4, and also that channel’s 2012 Paralympic cover. There’s no doubting there’s so pedigree there, and it’ll be interesting to see how that applies to putting on a good show for the punters both in the audience for Gfinity’s Elite Series and those watching online.

Amanda Lawson, Gfinity’s global head of production and the executive producer for the Elite Series, said in a statement: “Our ambition for the staging and production of the Elite Series is huge so we wanted to partner with a group who we could trust to innovate, excite and entertain. Noah’s team of award-winning producers and directors have decades of experience in high-end sports broadcasting and have worked with some of the biggest federations and organisations across the globe. Our combined expertise will revolutionise esports to rival mainstream sports and entertainment broadcasts.”

The Elite Series kicks off on July 7 and will run for nine weeks at the Gfinity Arena in London.
