Nominations open for Game Connection Europe Awards

The organisers behind Game Connection Europe have opened nominations for this year’s development awards.

The awards are designed to celebrate European developers’ independent game projects at any stage of development – from Early Access to post-launch. Studios may nominate any console, mobile, social, casual and online game, regardless of platform, genre and distribution.

There are 11 categories to enter:

  • Best console/PC hardcore
  • Best mobile/tablets
  • Best desktop/downloadable
  • Best casual game
  • Best social game
  • Best hardcore
  • Excellence in art
  • Excellence in story and storytelling
  • Most promising IP
  • Most creative and original project
  • Best indie game

The winners will be announced during Game Connection Europe, which runs from October 26th to 28th alongside Paris Games Week. Finalists will be given a free stand during the event.

Hopeful studios have until July 22nd to nominate themselves. You can do so at the Game Connection Europe website.
