Overwatch holds No.1 for second week

Blizzard’s new shooter IP Overwatch manages to maintain its position at the head of the UK Top 40 this week.

Sales of the online title fell just 54 per cent week-on-week, which is an indication of healthy performance.

In second place is Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, whose sales fell just 27 per cent. It charted ahead of Doom, which held third place with a 33 per cent sales dip.

FIFA 16 shoots up to No.4 from seventh place with sales rising 65 per cent week-on-week. This is due to price promotions, bundles as well as the upcoming Euro 2016, GfK speculates.

Fifth place is occupied by a new title, Dead Island: Definitive Edition. This collects remastered versions of the original Dead Island, as well as 2013’s Riptide, for PS4 and Xbox One.

Sales of Grand Theft Auto V also rose this week and rose four places to No.6. Thanks to half term, the crime blockbuster rose 66 per cent week-on-week. Meanwhile, Homefront The Revolution falls six places to No.10.
