Former Dignitas CS:GO team to sign with Danish football club according to report

Earlier in the week it was reported that the Dignitas CS:GO team will leave the organisation when their contracts expire at the end of the year. Now a new report suggests that the team will be heading to Danish football club F.C. Copenhagen.

F.C. Copenhagen have recently entered the world of eSports, with a commitment to pick up FIFA players, a CS:GO team and a Dota 2 team. Now, according to a report from Dot eSports’ Thiemo Brautigam, the football club has found its CS:GO team in the form of the Dignitas roster.

The announcement is not expected to be made until early next year, when the Dignitas contracts officially expire, however the deal is supposedly all but done.

Rene “cajunb” Borg, Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke, Mathias “MSL” Lauridsen, Ruben “rubino” Villarroel, Emil “Magisk” Reif, and coach Casper “Ruggah” Due will all play on the team, which will compete under the F.C. Copenhagen name.
