Longzhu Gaming sign PraY and GorillA

Longzhu Gaming has signed both Kim "PraY" Jong-in and Kang "GorillA" Beom-hyeon, who formerly played for the ROX Tigers.

Both players have joined the organisation, which comes as somewhat of a surprise after Longzhu had a disappointing 2016. However just last week the team was purchased by one of the biggest Chinese retailers and with this new influx of cash they have gone after top talent.

PraY and GorillA both played for the RoX Tigers for the last two years, making it to the final and semi final of the World Championships, losing out to SK Telecom T1 on both occasions. In 2016 they won the LCK Summer Split and went into worlds as the number on Korean team, however they narrowly missed out on the final in the instant classic against SKT. The team disbanded shortly after worlds.

The news certainly shows the intent of the new owners to build a star studded team. Picking up two of the best players in Korea is certainly a good way to start the off season.
