PES 2010 gets release date

Konami has confirmed its complete release schedule for its hotly anticipated Pro Evolution Soccer 2010, with the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions arriving first on October 22nd.

These will be followed by the PS2 and PSP incarnations on November 5th and finally the Wii outing on November 19th.

PES 2010 will for the first time bring full 360-degree movement to the series as well as a host of visual and gameplay tweaks.

Its development team has gone out of its way to try and communicate with the loyal PES fanbase throughout its development in an effort to alleviate many of the concerns that have plagued recent releases in the series.

The number of licenses has also been upped, with the Champions League and Europa League licenses being joined by a record number of official international teams including England, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Brazil and Argentina.

Konami is still hard at work in an effort to secure further club licenses, too. Barcelona, Manchester United, Liverpool and Juventus are already on board.
