Nearly 300 GAME stores opened their doors last night for what is likely to be the biggest game launch of 2012 to date.

The release of FIFA 13 this week is likely to propel the market to its highest level of the year so far, so retail was naturally keen to make as big a splash as it possibly could.

We knew FIFA 13 was going to be a smash hit with fans,” GAME’s marketing director Anna-Marie Mason stated. The features are completely revolutionary and make this installment bigger, better and more intuitive than ever before! We opened 294 GAME stores at midnight for the launch and our best GAME squads kicked off the FIFA 13 season in style.”
