Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare ‘Legends of the Lawn’ out this week

Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare is set to receive a batch of free content with the impending arrival of the game’s new Legends of the Lawn update.

Publisher EA and developer PopCap Games have announced the update will launch tomorrow – Tuesday, September 30th – as a free download across all platforms.

Legends of the Lawn will add seven new character variants, more than 200 customization items and five new spawnable characters. The new Taco Bandits game mode will be included as well, which has the Plants defending Crazy Dave’s tacos from being taken by the Zombies.

The US PlayStation Blog also confirms PS3 and PS4 owners will also receive all of the content released previously to the PlayStation editions arrival.

Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare is available on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Here’s a look at a new trailer showing of the upcoming additions:
