PlayStack might be new, but the UK publisher is making a string of new hires at senior level as it grows its operations.
The publishing outfit has recruited a trio of talent, picking up Rupinder Khatkar, Will Newell and Brera Razzaq in senior roles.
Khatkar has been hired in a similar role to her role at NBC where she was a universal data analyst, although she has previous experience working at Jagex.Newell is joining up as a product marketing manager, having previously worked at Space Ape Games, and Razzaq is taking up the role of Project Manager, having previous experience at EA mobile and Marmalade.
In addition to the new hires, PlayStack has just signed its second title, making a deal with Foxglove Studios to publish real-time multiplayer heist game Snipers vs Thieves, which has just been released on Google Play Early Access. PlayStacks are planning to announce more deals before the end of the year.
“As soon as we played Snipers vs Thieves we wanted to be the publishing partner,” said PlayStack CEO Harvey Elliott. “The team has spent countless hours playing the game and we’re looking forward to working with Foxglove Studios to give their game the launch it deserves."
