The PlayStation Store is back and as a reward for customers’ patience Sony has gone live with a host of fresh content to download.
Currently all PSN members have been upgraded to PlayStation Plus membership for a month.
Four PSN titles are currently free to download – Burnout Paradise, Magic the Gathering, Streets of Rage 2 and Babel: The King of Blocks. There’s also PSOne game James Pond 2: Codename Robocod and Minis title The 2D Adventures of Rotating Octopus Character.
Discount are available on a host of games including PlayTV Live Chat, Thexder NEO, Worms, Burn Zombie Burn, Chime and Beyond Good & Evil. There are also three dynamic themes and some premium avatars.
This content will remain accessible for the duration of the 30-day free PS+ period.
And if you were already a PS+ member prior to April 21st, there’s a lot of extra content available too.
Full access is available to the following PSN titles – Red Faction: Battlegrounds, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Pain and Prince of Persia Classic. Three PSOne titles are also free to download – Creatures 3, Dual Invaders and Dynogems.
There are also discounts on DLC for Killzone 3 and MotorStorm Apocalypse as well as a number of full games including Outland, Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes 3D and Red Johnson Chronicles. Some additional themes and avatars are also available.
Proper PS+ members are also due to get some further unannounced freebies. Sony has also said that it has some special plans for the service’s first birthday on June 29th.
