PS4’s Grow Home downloaded 2m times in first week

The PS4 release of Ubisoft Reflections’ experimental climbing adventure game Grow Home was downloaded more than two million times during its first week.

The game was the winner of Sony’s Vote to Play programme. As a result, the game was free to download for PS Plus subscribers.

Its success has made it the fasted downloaded Ubisoft title on PlayStation ever.

“We are thrilled that BUD has found a new home in the PS4 community,” said Reflections producer Pete Young.

“Grow Home was a great opportunity for our team to experiment and develop new technology and have fun at the same time.”

Earlier this year Develop spoke to the team behind Grow Home to find out about the experimental game’s creation. You can read our interview with the developer here.
