PS4’s TV and Video services get a refresh

Sony has re-worked the streaming video services section on PS4.

The company describes the redesign as a new, visually appealing, content driven video experience which enable players and their households to easily discover and stream the best video content across PlayStation Store and 3rd party services”.

The main change is that video content from a number of services such as Netflix, Amazon, Now TV, iPlayer and PSN itself is now all collated into a single feed, as are the assorted available video apps.

The company said further updates are planned for the future, too, although details of this have not yet been unveiled.

This update is now live in the UK, Australia, Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain and Sweden.

Added Sony: The new TV & Video experience will help you find your favourites and discover new and exciting content from the PS4 streaming video services, all in one location. Instead of jumping in and out of all your different apps, find the best video on PS4 from one convenient spot.”

The My Videos tab can be accessed from the PS4’s main XMB (Cross Media Bar).
