Psychonauts 2’s Fig crowdfunding campaign already near $2m

t’s taken Double Fine just a weekend’s time to amass nearly $2m for Pyschonauts 2 crowdfunding campaign on Fig.

The project hit the $1m milestone less than a day after it was announced at The Game Awards last week, and has added over $800,000 more since.

At time of writing, the game has brought in $1,862,649 from 12,237 backers. That total is more than 55 per cent of the game’s all-or-nothing $3.3m funding goal, with still 36 days remaining in the campaign.

If funded, Double Fine is aiming for a 2018 multiplatform release.
