The Develop Conference in Brighton is to revolutionise its first-day content, introducing 'Evolve' – a new focus on platforms and opportunities including mobile, iPhone, XBLA and casual gaming.
Evolve will take place throughout the first two days of the main conference, with three tracks covering Coding and Production, Art and Design and Business, all of which embrace emerging technology.
"We're looking forward to a fourth successful Develop in Brighton Conference, but we're not complacent. Our established two-day event will continue to deliver solid sessions packed with takeaway value, while our new Evolve opener is a direct response to developer demand.” stated Owain Bennallack, Chair of Develop Conference Advisory Board.
To read more about Evolve, click here to read our profile of the programme, in which we talk to key developers such as PlayFish's Kristian Segestrale and Traveller's Tales' Jonathan Smith about the new additions. In the feature Bennallack explained: “It no longer makes sense to ghettoise sub-sectors like online, casual and mobile. In the post-LittleBigPlanet world, we’re all mainstream game developers now.”
The Develop Conference takes place at the Hilton Metropole hotel in Brighton from Tuesday July 14th to Thursday, July 16th. For more information, visit the newly-launched website.
