Read our E3 2017 analysis and in-depth take on the future of streaming in this week’s MCV

After a week of announcements and hype at E3, MCV is back from the show floor with in-depth analysis about what’s going to set the industry’s agenda for the next twelve months and beyond.

From Microsoft revealing the Xbox One Xand Nintendo’s partnership with Ubisoft on Mario+Rabbids, to the lack of indie titles and the strategic differences between the key platform holders’ conferences – plus everything in between – all you need to know about this year’s E3 is in this week’s issue of MCV.

This week, we also take a closer look at the evolution of streaming and VOD. We talked to publisher Devolver Digital and platforms DingIt and Twitch about how both streaming and VOD can be used as effective marketing tools to promote your brands.

We also had a chat with Nathan Ditum from creative agency We Are Reach about the advantages of video on-demand over streaming and what makes a successful official branded YouTube channel.

Twitch’s event director Krystal Herring also took the time to discuss the upcoming third edition of TwitchCon and the opportunities the show offers for any business in the games industry.

Elsewhere, we talk to Multiplay about its expanding events roster and its growing server business, and to Codemasters about Micro Machines’ return to its console roots.
