Release set for Doctor Who on Wii/DS

Developer Asylum Entertainment and distributor Koch have confirmed that Doctor Who’s upcoming Wii and DS titles will both hit UK retail on November 12th.

Doctor Who: Evacuation Earth and Doctor Who: Return to Earth will also be released in Australia and other select European territories on the same day.

Licensed by BBC Worldwide, both games will star TV icons Matt Smith and Karen Gillen as the Doctor and assistant Amy Pond respectively.

It is our firm belief that the franchise has massive potential on the Nintendo DS and Wii formats and it’s an honour to be bringing Doctor Who video games to the show’s huge fan base.”
