Riot Games sponsors the Esports Woman of the Year category at the Women in Games awards 2018

We’re excited to announce that Riot Games is a category sponsor at our Women in Games Awards 2018. Riot, who have spent the last year building up a new London-based office, will be sponsoring the Esports Woman of the Year award. One of ten prizes up for grabs on the day.

The nominees for this category are:

Taking place on Friday May 11th at the Facebook offices in Rathbone Square, London, the Women in Games Awards 2018 celebrate the hardest-working, the biggest achieving, and the downright most brilliant women in the UK games industry.

"We want to recognise the contribution of talented women in the games industry," said Mark Cox, the country manager for Riot Games UK. "The new team at Riot UK is committed to growing the esports scene and we want to ensure we have solid representation and opportunities to drive the industry forward. We have the privilege of working with great women in this particular field, so we were thrilled at the chance to support and celebrate them at this event."

This year’s categories include Rising Star of the Year – Development Award, Creative Impact Award, Rising Star of the Year – Business Award, Businesswoman of the Year, Esports Woman of the Year, Career Mentor of the Year and Outstanding Contribution.
