Rise of the Tomb Raider could be hitting PC next month

Xbox One timed-exclusive Rise of the Tomb Raider appears to be coming out on PC in January 2016.

That’s if a listing on the ever-leaky Amazon France is to believed. The French arm of the online retail giant – as spotted by IGN – gave the PC SKU of Square’s adventure title a January 29th release date.

That date has now been removed and replaced with December 31st, 2020.

Rise of the Tomb Raider was revealed at E3 2014, and was revealed just two months later at Gamescom to be an Xbox-exclusive. Well, a timed-exclusive.

That title hit Xbox One in November. It is coming to PlayStation 4 in Q4 2016, and was previously slated to hit PC in ‘early 2016′.

In spite of a multi-million ad push, the title did not perform overly well when it hit retail – though Square Enix and Microsoft were still ‘very happy’ with the release, according to developer Crystal Dynamics.
