Robin Williams’ sincere Zelda ad

There are few things as sickening in this self-promoting and capitalist world as a money-laden celebrity taking to the camera to peddle insincere lies about a product in exchange for a big fat cheque, right?

If that’s the sort of thinking you subscribe to then you should take great delight from this Ocarina of Time 3D ad featuring Hollywood actor Robin Williams.

So why is this spot any different? Because Williams actually named his daughter Zelda due to his love for Nintendo’s adventure series.

I mean, seriously, who names their kid after a video game? Sorry, what? Who, my daughter? Well, yeah, she is called Lara. OK, fair point.
