Rome to host next PlayStation Open Day

The team at Sony Computer Entertainment continues to bring its PlayStation Open Day to new developer hubs, next targeting Italian studios with an event in Rome.

The PlayStation Open Day gives developers a chance to learn more about bringing their games to market. Previous iterations have been held in London, Leamington Spa and Poland during the Digital Dragons conference.

The next Open Day will be held in Rome on Wednesday, June 18th and will focus on the opportunities for indie developers on PlayStation platforms, as well as discussing the evolution of the Italian games development scene.

It will be hosted by Sony Computer Entertainment Italia and Italian games industry association AESVI.

Confirmed speakers include SCEE’s developer relations senior account manager Agostino Simonetta and R&D senior engineer Patrick Connor, MixedBag co-founder Mauro Fanelli and AESVI secretary-general Thalita Malago.

To register, simply email Mariagrazia_Martorana@scee.net. The deadline is Friday, June 13th.
