Ubisoft has announced that Silent Hunter 5 will be released on PC in early 2010.
The title, which will be shown at this year’s Gamescom, puts players in control of a German U-boat that must take on the allied forces in a battle across the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean sea. The game also boasts a wealth of new features, including a new first person mode and a new user interface.
Silent Hunter is an award-winning submarine series developed by Ubisoft Romania, with nearly 1.5 million copies sold worldwide. The last game in the franchise, Silent Hunter: Wolves of the Pacific won several game of the year awards.
