Two new recruitments join San Francisco productivity team

Sims 3 producer rejoins Hansoft

Former Sims 3 producer Jon Leslie has rejoined Hansoft, San Francisco, as senior production expert.

Leslie (pictured) spent two years at EA as producing the Sims 3. He combines his past ten years of game production experience with over 11 years of enterprise software project management.

Leslie has held production roles at EA, Microsoft Studios, Take-Two and Harmonix, developing titles such as Amped, Rock Band and Tiger Woods PGA Tour on various platforms.

“I’ve had a couple of great years with EA where I have had a chance to really get down to working with Hansoft in full production on a daily basis. I am taking lots of new experience back to Hansoft and I am really excited to get out to the clients and help them reach new levels of agility and ship better games faster,” said Leslie.

In addition to Leslie, Roland Bäcklin has also joined the team as senior productivity expert. His primary role at Hansoft is to help software development organisations around the world implement agile methods to improve their processes and efficiency.

Bäcklin has experience in running and managing successful teams and projects from different management roles. In recent years, his skills have primarily been used by large companies in banking, finance and telecom, on large-scale to super-large-scale agile development projects.

Bäcklin added: “After having worked with Hansoft in a large telecom project, I was so impressed with both the tool and the company, that I couldn’t resist the opportunity to join the talented team here in Uppsala, Sweden. In this role, I get to focus on what I like the most: helping clients reach new levels of agility by leveraging their Hansoft usage and improving processes.”
