Skyrim drops to Rs 1,999 on consoles, Rs 1,499 on PC in India

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has finally received a much needed price drop in India.

Having launched at Rs 3,499 on consoles and Rs 2,499 on PC, it was priced significantly higher than most other games in India.

Now, distributor E-xpress Interactive has dropped the game’s price drastically to Rs 1,999 on Xbox 360 and PS3, and Rs 1,499 on PC.

It’s still a little pricey on the PC, but for that premium, you get a straight import with packaging that is superior to what we’re usually get from PC games in India.

The price drop applies only to the standard edition of the game, of course, and not the premium edition that was released in India last November.
