South Korean org ROX announces Overwatch team

South Korean organisation ROX, best known for its LCK side the ROX Tigers, has announced that it has signed its first Overwatch team.

The squad is known as the ROX Orcas and features Kyeong-hoon “Aloha” Cho, Tae-wook “Try” Kang, Gwang-ho “Le1gend” Cha, Chang-gyun “Melee” Chung, Dae-min “Daemin” Kim and Joon-hwan “Guardian” Cho.

Formerly this group of players played under the Motiondive and featured in the APEX Challenger minor league last year. They had a disappointing performance, failing to qualify for the main APEX league, meaning they will again be competing in Challenger this season.

"Through aggressive, fiery play, we will become a team that can make fans’ chests ring with excitement,” said team coach Aloha. “Although the weight of the ROX name is large, we want to be an imposing, historic team to stand up to the name of the Tigers. ROX’s fame will rise and we will become a successful team."
