Spencer to host Gamescom keynote

Microsoft Studios boss Phil Spencer is to host a keynote press conference at Gamescom 2013 next week.

CVG reports that word of the event was sent out to the German press late last week.

MCV understands that Spencer’s talk will take place some time on the evening of Wednesday August 21st. Sony’s Gamescom press briefing is due to take place on the evening of Tuesday August 20th.

Gamescom 2013 takes place next week between August 21st and August 25th in Cologne.
