EA has announced a beta for Star Wars Battlefront will arrive in early October.
The beta testwill launch simultaneously on all platforms, and will feature the Walker Assault on Hoth scenario – a 40-player multiplayer battle revolving around the Rebel Alliance and the Empire. Walker Assault will give players the opportunity to play as Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker.
The beta will also feature a Tatooine survival mode level, which tasks two players with fighting back waves of Imperial forces. Drop Zone mode will make the beta as well, according to developer DICE.
Star Wars Battlefront is scheduled to release November 17thon PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
