Having sat 2015 out, Valve’s Steam Dev Days developer conference is back for a second instalment.
Set to take place in Valve’s US hometown of Seattle across October 12th and 13th, the event will unsurprisingly see VR take centre stage, as talks delve into building for the Vive headset and SteamVR platform, as well as examining the game design and technicalities involved in virtual reality development.
Other topics of discussion will include Valve’s Steam-branded hardware, such as the eponymous Controller and Link streaming box, and advice on encouraging users to create their own content for games, primarily through the Steam Workshop platform.
Applications for the event are now open, with Valve’s site also offering a reminder of last year’s proceedings.
