Steam top ten sellers chart: June 30 – July 6

Final Fantasy VII beat out upstart Rogue Legacy for the top spot on Steam’s latest top ten selling chart.

Square’s PS1 classic roared up the sales chart this past week after launching late during the period. The game relaunched on PC last month through Square Enix itself, but just days ago on Valve’s digital distribution platform.

TheIndie roguelike runner-up improved its position by a spot versus last week, continuing to sell on par with the best Valve’s service has had to offer in recent memory.

Mortal Kombat finished ahead of a heavily discounted Left 4 Dead 2, and Company of Heroes 2 dropped four spots from last week’s top position to round out the upper half of the list.

The Walking Dead’s new DLC ‘400 Days’ reached the eighth spot for its chart debut.

  1. Final Fantasy VII
  2. Rogue Legacy
  3. Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition
  4. Left 4 Dead 2

  6. Civilization V: Brave New World
  7. Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition
  8. The Walking Dead: 400 Days
