UK developer Sumo Digital is heading up the Xbox 360 version of Forza Horizon 2.
The cross-gen game was revealed by Microsoft yesterday and it later emerged that while Playground Games is creating the Xbox One release, the last-gen version is being made elsewhere.
Specifically, Sheffield, it now turns out.
X1 version of Horizon 2 is built on the Forza 5 engine, led by Playground,” the Forza Motorsport Twitter feed stated. X360 version is built on Horizon 1 engine, led by Sumo Digital.”
Sumo’s previous credits include Xbox Fitness, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, F1 2011, Doctor Who: The Adventure Games, Virtua Tennis 3 and Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast.
Forza Horizon 2 is due out in the autumn.
