Take a bet on Modern Warfare 2

Following its jaw-dropping day one UK sales, online bookies PaddyPower have revealed a number of new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 related bets including 1/3 odds on it going on to become the best selling video game of all time.

Punters are now also able to bet on just how long Infinity Ward’s shooter can stay at the top of the UK charts once the latest listings are revealed next week.

This year there’s no battle to be had,” PaddyPower spokesperson Sharon McHugh stated.

We’re expecting Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 to command the top spot on the video games chart for weeks. No other video game will get a look in this year, there’s just no contest so that will naturally affect our betting.”
