Technicolor Bangalore sets up dedicated Rockstar Games team

Technicolor has collaborated with Rockstar Games to set up a team to work exclusively on the Grand Theft Auto developer-publisher’s titles at its Bangalore facility.

The state-of-the-art technology infrastructure” at the Bangalore studio will house a team of game artists and animators working solely on Rockstar Games titles.

Technicolor’s India studio had also worked on recent Rockstar titles such as Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire and Max Payne 3.

France-based Technicolor’s other clients include DreamWorks Animation, EA, Mattel, Nickelodeon, Sony Computer Entertainment America, and Square Enix.

Rockstar’s upcoming game – Grand Theft Auto V – is rumoured for release in 2013, but no concerete release date has yet been announced.
