This year Movember has a smartphone game

Growing a fabulous moustache isn’t going to be the only way to contribute to Movember this year.

GameSpot reports that The Movember Foundation has today launched a game on iOS called Run Mo Run! It’s also on the way to Android, although that version doesn’t seem to have appeared yet.

All revenues from the ads and microtransactions will go to charity.

As you might expect, moustaches are very much the theme of the title, with players not only protecting their facial furniture but also upgrading it. There’s also lots of jumping and coin collecting. There’s a video below where you can see it in action.

Not familiar with Movember? As per the charity’s site: The Movember Foundation is a global charity committed to men living happier, healthier, longer lives. Since 2003, millions have joined the men’s health movement, raising 402 million and funding over 1,000 programmes focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity.”
