Trio of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag books on the way

The release of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be accompanied by a tie-in novel, art book and strategy guide.

A novel, aptly titled Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag will arrive a week after the game on November 7th.

The book, published by Penguin Group, follows the same story as the game and charts Edward Kenway’s rise to become one of the deadliest pirates in the word.

Sketches and concept artwork for the game will feature in the Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Art Book from Titan Books and a limited number of special slipcase editions will include concept prints signed by the artists. Both editions will be released on October 8th.

Also, going on sale the same day as the game is the Assassin’s Creed IV Official Strategy Guide from Piggyback. The guide includes a walkthrough, story analysis and a section devoted to mastering multiplayer.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will appear as part of Ubisoft’s E3 line-up and is coming to PS3, 360 and PC on November 1st.

Release dates for Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game are still to be announced.
