Trio of Xbox 360 holiday bundles unveiled for this week

Microsoft has announced three new Xbox 360 holiday bundles for arrival later this week, including the previously rumoured 500GB Call of Duty-themed package.

The Special Edition Blue Bundle will only be available at Wal-Mart as reported – though launching earlier than expected. Another bit of info we didn’t know at the time was that effectively the same bundle (save the hue) would be available everywhere else.

A post on Major Nelson details the two other bundles along with the Wal-Mart exclusive, including the Holiday Value Bundle that carries all the trimmings of the aforementioned Special Edition Blue Bundle. Both include a 500GB Xbox 360, a wireless controller, a month of Xbox Live Gold, Call of Duty: Ghosts and Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

Lastly, the 4GB Kinect Bundle will pack the 4GB Xbox 360, wireless controller, the month of Xbox Live Gold, Kinect Adventures, Kinect Sports, and Forza Horizon. The offering is exclusive to Target locations in the US.

All three packages will retail at $249 and ship to retailers this Tuesday, September 16th.
