Trion’s Defiance hosting GMA’s pre-show drinks

Just three sleeps to go until the Games Media Awards. And if you’re lucky enough to be going you’ll be enjoying your first drink courtesy of Defiance.

Trion’s MMO is the pre-event drinks sponsor at Thursday night’s hotly contested award show for the UK’s best games writing talent.

The online games is built with a TV show of the same name airing on SyFy, and the two will share content and stories – it all goes live in April next month.

Trion is once again proud to be sponsoring the pre-drinks party at the 2012 Games Media Awards,” says Jonathan Goddard, head of European PR, Trion Worlds.

As we begin to build anticipation for Defiance, which launches in April 2013, these awards are a great opportunity for us to show our support to the UK games media.

"The GMAs are a hugely positive demonstration of the talent and excellence within games journalism and we are happy to be a part of celebrating it.”

This year’s Games Media Awards ceremony takes place on October 18th, hosted by Russell Kane, at Vinpolis, Bankside.
