Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 4 is coming to Steam 10 years after its predecessor was released

Aussie-flavoured platforming series Ty the Tasmanian Tiger is back after a decade’s wait.

Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 3: Night of the Quinkan was released way back in 2005 for the PS2, original Xbox, GameCube and Game Boy Advance. Yes, that long ago.

Ty 4 is leaving the consoles behind to come to PC via Steam this September 18th.

The game will also mark a departure from the 3D visuals and gameplay of its predecessor, adopting a 2D style like that of Rayman and Donkey Kong Country.

Original Ty creator Krome Studios will once again develop and publish the title.

In case your memory of Ty has lapsed in his long absence, Krome will also re-release the first three games in the franchise on PC: the original Ty, plus sequel Ty 2: Bush Rescue and the aforementioned Night of the Quinkan.
