Ubi seeks Assassin’s Creed singer

The search is on for a vocalist to sing the theme song for this November’s Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.

The track will reportedly be a "hauntingly stirring theme score" composed by Lorne Balfe and requires a "soft melodic voice", according to Eurogamer. No professional experience is required – just a computer and a microphone.

Entrants must sign up to UJAM, a cloud-based music creation website, download the theme tune and record their voice as they singalong. The competition is open to anyone in the UK, US, Canada and Germany, and runs until September 19th.

A shortlist of the 20 best singers will be selected via online voting, and the winner will be chosen by Balfe, film composer Hans Zimmer and Assassin’s Creed music supervisor Simon Landry.

Not only will the winner hear their crooning in the final game, recorded in a professional studio, they will be included in Revelations’ soundtrack credits and take home $1,000.
