Unconfirmed title Red Steel 3 will supposedly use Nintendoâ??s upcoming peripheral

Ubisoft Montreal â??working on Vitality Sensorâ??

Ubisoft’s Montreal studio is said to be building a game using Nintendo’s Wii Vitality Sensor.

The studio will apparently use Nintendo’s peculiar fingertip pulse oximeter for unconfirmed title Red Steel 3, according to reports of an interview with Red Steel art director Jason Vandenberghe.

The rumour has travelled far – originating from a report in France’s official Nintendo magazine, republished online via a French site LiveWii, then translated on blog site NeverKnowTech.

A Ubisoft spokesperson has declined to comment on the speculation.

More detailed information surrounding the Wii Vitality Sensor is expected to be disclosed at this year’s E3 event in June. Nintendo was previously speculated to be building ‘relaxation software’ with the device.
