Unity is not up for sale

Unity has finally responded to ongoing rumours that it’s looking for a buyer – and it’s disappointing news for anyone hoping to acquire the firm.

The company behind one of the most widely used game engines has insisted that it is not looking to sell or be acquired. That’s according toa post by Unity’s CTO Joachim Anteon the firm’s official forums.

"Our response has always been that for Unity it is best to be an independent company. This has been true for the last 10 years, it is equally true today," he wrote."So to sum it up: We have no plan to sell Unity."
