Unreal Fest Europe 2019 presentations are now freely available online

Epic has published, for free, almost 50 videos of discussions and presentations from last month’s Unreal Fest Europe.

Following last month’s Unreal Fest Europe, Epic has released the videos and presentations slides from nearly 50 sessions, featuring speakers from studios like Ninja Theory, Rare, Daedalic, and Epic itself, of course. The event brought together over 800 developers for several days of learning and networking in Prague and focused on the needs of coders, artists, animators, designers, and producers.

“Now any UE developer, anywhere, can access these valuable educational resources to learn more about real-world UE4-powered workflows and in-depth tips for leveraging features like Blueprints and Niagara to their full potential,” says Epic via a press release. “Speakers include developers from YAGER, Rare, Splash Damage, Daedalic Entertainment, Ninja Theory, War Drum Studios, Cardboard Sword, and many more.”

“Unreal Fest was valuable for me, both because I met a lot of like-minded engineers and also because I had the opportunity to speak and share experiences,” said Valentin Galea, lead programmer from Splash Damage, who delivered a talk focused on the developer’s history with Unreal Engine while presenting workflows and systems that “continue to empower studios and their developers”.

“Hopefully, what we share here will save others time, and overall, bring up the standards of work and promote good practices.”
