Activision has green-lit a James Bond project for Wisconsin-based studio Raven software, if the findings in a new report are to be believed.
The latest Bond titles had been developed by two UK studios, Derby-based Eurocom and the Liverpool-headquartered Bizarre Creations.
The former remains independent while the latter is under threat of closer with Activision putting the firm up for sale.
Fan-site ‘MI6’ claims Activision handed Raven a Bond project months ago, though the dev team was directed to instead build Call Of Duty Black Ops DLC.
But the project has been “taken off hiatus and is now green-lit again,” the MI6 website said.
Raven, which in the beginnings of its business had built several games for Id Software, recently created the FPSes Wolfenstein and Singularity for Activision.
