EA kicked off its Play event yesterday with further details about the sequel to 2014’s mech-shooter Titanfall.
The publisher confirmed that Titanfall 2 will be launching on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 28th.
The games firm also showed off the title’s single player mode for the very first time. Apparently this will focus on the ‘relationship between the Titan and pilot’. Though the original Titanfall had a single-player campaign, this is the first time that the series has had an actual story.
A single player mode was announced earlier in the year via a Forbes article.
Titanfall launched in 2014 as an Xbox console exclusive, releasing on Xbox One, 360 and PC. EA officially confirmed that its sequel would be coming to PlayStation 4 also in April.
