The sequel to smartphone hit Tiny Wings lands on July 12th – and one-man-studio Andrew Illiger has released a trailer to celebrate.
In an age of glossy CG trailers or promo footage that features actors trying to capture the feel of a triple-A game, this teaser cuts through with charm.

Footage shows a Tiny Wings level hand drawn and run through a music box, with a puppet-like bird soaring across the game.
Illiger has revealed nothing about gameplay – indeed, the video itself seems to refer back to the first game’s content.
Tiny Wings was named game of the year by Apple Europe at the end of 2011.
