EA has released a FIFA 15 video of a showdown between Liverpool and Manchester City.
That same match – albeit at the Etihad Stadium as opposed to Anfield as depicted here – takes place this Monday. EA’s recreation sees the match finish 1-1 at full time, although Man City go on to win it in extra time (again, something that can’t happen in the League game).
There’s also no sign of former City player and current AC Milan forward Mario Balotelli who may well have wrapped up a move to Liverpool in time for the game.
Even more unrealistically, people’s champion Rickie Lambert doesn’t score. Which is of course absurd. Instead fellow former Southampton star Adam Lallana puts Liverpool 1-0 up with Yaya Toure stealing an equaliser in the second half and Stevan Jovetic grabbing the extra time winner.
