VIDEO: Sony shows off Destiny played on Vita via Remote Play

The video below offers a glimpse on how users are able to play Bungie’s upcoming shooter Destiny on their Vita.

Bungie has optimised the game’s controls for Sony’s handheld, mapping the grenade and melee buttons that are normally found on the DualShock 4’s second set of shoulder buttons to the left and right hand sides of Vita’s touch screen.

Furthermore, gamers will be able to call up a Vita control screen via a menu that appears when pressing the PlayStation button.

PlayStation Blog’s Sig Shuman added that lots of players of the recent Destiny beta did so using Remote Play, although exact numbers were not divulged.

Note that Destiny is not compatible with Remote plat on PS3. Or PSP, for that matter.
