The highly anticipated Develop 100 book is back for 2009 in just a few short weeks’ time.
Sponsored by Emergent’s Gamebryo Lightspeed, the Develop 100 is the ultimate who’s who of game development studios. While previous years have seen the guide focus solely on revenues generated at UK retail, this year’s edition takes into acount NPD and Famitsu data, as well as Metacritic rankings and general industry opinion to form a more rounded, definitive list of the globe’s top 100 developers.
The guide will be published next month, bundled in for free with subscribers’ copies of Develop as well as select MCV readership. It’ll also be available as a digital edition on Issuu, plus there’ll be a full breakdown on the developmag.com site too.
