AI middleware firm xaitment will now offer discounts to schools and students thanks to a partnership with educational tech source Studica.
Starting today, the company’s Unity plugins xaitMap and xaitControl will be available at substantial educational discounts.
"Students are the foundation of our game development future, and AI is a growing area of interest for game development,” said xaitment CEO Mike Walsh.
“We looked at several different options for making our products available to the educational market and Studica was the obvious choice. Studica has a worldwide reach and they are already partnering with some of our closest partners.”
The company hopes that its tools, which use a visual editor for NavMesh generation, pathfinding, movement, character behavioral model, and game logic, will help introduce a new generation of game developers to advanced AI concepts.
Educators interested in taking advantage of the new pricing should contact xaitment or visit the Studica website.
