Xbox One backwards compatibility launch list hits next week ahead of update

The full list of backwards compatible Xbox 360 titles for Xbox One is set to arrive next Monday.

In a response to a question on Twitter, Microsoft’sPhil Spencer stated the backwards compatibility games list would be revealed in full on November 9th – three days ahead of the firmware update’s arrival.

Back in June, Microsoft revealed 22 games – including the likes of Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie, and Geometry Wars Evolved – as the initial batch for Xbox One Preview members to test. A few other titles have been added to the preview program since, including the original Borderlands, and the full list has grown to over 100 games.

We’ll know which major 360 releases were and weren’t made available in the program come next week, though it’s not out of the realm of possibility that at least some of the glaring omissions will be addressed at some point in the future.
