Maker Studios has launched a new iOS app dedicated to the Yogscast network.
It follows the release of an app dedicated to Maker’s YouTube poster boy PewDiePie earlier this month.
This new app is built in much the same way, offering quick access to the channel’s content as well as assorted ways to personalise a user’s feed and share the content on social media.
The Guardian reports that Yogscast was YouTube’s 84th most popular channel in June, with 7.1m subscribers and 2.7bn lifetime views
In May alone YouTube’s 100 most popular gaming channels generated nearly 3.5bn collective views.
Yogscast was caught up in controversy in July when it cancelled a Yogscast game that had been successfully Kickstarted, failing to account for $150k of backer payments.
