Kuju’s Zoë Mode has moved its Brighton studio into new premises.
The studio, responsible for work on a number of SingStar spin-offs, PSP game Crush and new 360 game You’re in the Movies, consists of five development teams.
All are housed comfortably in the new purpose-built six-story base.
The new building (pictured) boasts a fully equipped sound studio, the technology group, gameplay prototyping lab and staff canteen, and also conforms to BREEM architectural standards of sustainable, environmental building design and incorporates rainwater harvesting and low-impact central services. And because of its central Brighton location, over 90% of the staff walk, cycle or use public transport to get to work.
Ed Daly, studio head, commented: “We couldn’t be happier with Zoë’s new home and we’re proud of its low environmental impact. Building out exactly the studio we wanted was a wonderful opportunity to create a space that not only gives everyone what they need to do their jobs but that reflects and enhances the culture of the company.”
